Overview

The Fermentation Application Development Specialist supports North American fuel ethanol and carbohydrate processing customers by developing yeast and enzyme products, troubleshooting, and optimizing customer processes while leading cross-functional and technical projects.

In Short

• Hands-on laboratory work for experimental design and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience or MSc with 3+ years.
• Lab research experience in academic or industrial settings.
• Understanding of enzyme kinetics and fermentation processes.
• Experience with analytical techniques like HPLC and GC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
