Developer Success Engineer - East - Remote

Overview

Dagster is an orchestration platform for the development, production, and observation of data assets. Our goal is to make Dagster+ the de facto hosted solution for structuring these systems.

In Short

• Provide technical support to Dagster+ customers and open-source users.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Dagster installations, integrations, and deployments.
• Troubleshoot issues with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Lead customer onboarding for seamless Dagster+ adoption.
• Improve documentation for clarity and usability.
• Develop training content and examples.
• Collaborate with clients and sales to build strong relationships.
• Work flexible shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM ET.
• Provide feedback to engineering and product teams to drive product improvements.
• Engage with customer issues and drive improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in technical support or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, containerized environments, and cloud platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges independently.
• Proactive mindset for engaging with customer issues.
