SOC Director - Remote

Overview

The SOC Director will lead the security operations team, managing processes and enhancing data security for clients while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

• Lead team management activities including hiring and performance evaluations.
• Identify training needs and assist with training program delivery.
• Monitor industry changes and ensure alignment with data protection regulations.
• Manage service operations including 24x7 delivery and team oversight.
• Develop and document operational procedures and recommend tooling strategies.
• Track key performance and risk indicators for executive reporting.
• Engage with customers to monitor and analyze key data points.
• Assist with incident response and prepare reports for customers.
• Support customer success initiatives and platform integration.
• Provide feedback to product development teams.

Requirements

• Direct operational experience in SOC or MSSP settings.
• Minimum 10 years in technical SOC/MSSP roles.
• At least 5 years in management roles within SOC/MSSP environments.
• Hands-on experience with key enterprise security platforms.
• Experience in identifying, triaging, and resolving cyber incidents.
