Senior Preconstruction Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Preconstruction Manager works closely with internal teammates, the design team, and the owner to provide preconstruction planning support on multiple projects, including the development of bid strategy, scope writing, developing project schedules, bid solicitations, pre-construction meeting walk-throughs, and post-bid interviews.

In Short

• Own the entire preconstruction strategy and execution for assigned projects.
• Serve as the right hand to the Preconstruction Department Lead.
• Partner with Marketing and Execution Teams on proposal development.
• Attend preconstruction meetings and site walk-throughs.
• Lead review of engineering and design documents.
• Support and lead development of budgets based on logistics and design intent.
• Attend and lead pre-bid walkthroughs and bidder engagement calls.
• Develop and manage cost estimates and budgets throughout design phases.
• Create project pricing strategies for sales presentations and client meetings.
• Drive cost leadership and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• 4-Year College Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of field experience.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and construction software.
• Minimum OSHA 30 certification.
