IT Program Manager - Remote

Overview

This client facing position is responsible for following project management processes and procedures for medium to large scale IT projects. This includes gathering project teams, identifying needed resources, managing responsibilities, and developing requirements necessary for successful project completion.

In Short

• Become a key point of contact for customers during all project engagements.
• Set expectations and drive projects to conclusion with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Manage medium to large scale IT Infrastructure projects using strong facilitation skills.
• Develop project scope of work, objectives, detailed work plans, and resource plans.
• Manage project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and checking work efforts.
• Manage all project resources, internal and external.
• Commission and decommission of IT software.
• Track key project milestones and adjust project plans accordingly.
• Promote momentum and pride within the project team.
• Manage financial controls of IT budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5-8 years of IT project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management principles and methodologies.
• Experience running a complex set of software deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work under minimal direction.
• Can coordinate multiple projects across multiple locations.
• Good at status reporting and updating internal reports.
• Software knowledge: Office 365, Excel, Workbench.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
