Overview

The role involves working on DO-178C Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification projects, focusing on testing embedded safety-critical software applications in Aerospace or Defense Systems.

In Short

  • Develop verification strategies and tests for simulation and target testing.
  • Analyze and verify real-time embedded software.
  • Understand software lifecycle from requirements to testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded systems, particularly with C.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience in Tool Development and Qualification (DO-330) is a bonus.
  • Experience with Model Based Development (MBD) and DO-331 is a bonus.
  • Experience with SOC architecture is a bonus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead work packages.
  • Preference for candidates located in the Hartford area.
