Overview

As a Staff Data Engineer at Crunchbase, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data systems that enable our teams to build and ship data-driven products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, tackle challenging data engineering tasks, and help us build robust and efficient data solutions tailored to our company's unique needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with streaming data systems (Kafka).
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor team members.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Curiosity and comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity.
