Vice President of Risk, Audit and Compliance - Remote

Overview

We are hiring a Vice President of Risk, Audit and Compliance who is responsible for overseeing, managing, and reporting on CU SoCal’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Vendor Management (VM), Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML), Business Continuity (BC), Data Governance (DG), Internal Audit (IA) and compliance-related programs.

In Short

• Manage CU SoCal’s Enterprise Risk Management and compliance-related programs.
• Oversee Vendor Management and Business Continuity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations.
• Lead the Internal Audit department and manage audit engagements.
• Work closely with the CFO on risk assessment and reporting.
• Facilitate meetings for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulators.
• Implement and oversee the compliance framework for the organization.
• Lead investigations and manage compliance-related activities.
• Support a hybrid work schedule with flexibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in auditing financial institutions.
• 3+ years in risk management and vendor management.
• 5+ years in a management role.
• Familiarity with internal auditing standards and compliance processes.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws affecting financial institutions.
• Experience with COSO frameworks and BSA/AML compliance.
• Understanding of business continuity and data governance concepts.
