Overview

We are hiring a Member Care Officer I who will provide courteous, confidential, and professional service over the telephone. Acts as a financial advisor who creates an exceptional Member experience by identifying and matching credit union products and services to Member needs.

In Short

  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external Members.
  • Handle Member inquiries regarding various banking services.
  • Educate Members on credit union products and services.
  • Work a hybrid schedule with flexibility.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Member information.
  • Cross-sell financial products and services.
  • Demonstrate excellence in member service.
  • Develop sales skills necessary for the role.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs.
  • Establish effective business relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in Retail/Customer Service.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in financial services preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Familiarity with Symitar or similar systems.
  • Effective communication and member service skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive professional image.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
