Insurance Billing/Collections Assistant III - Remote

Overview

This position performs advanced billing and collection activities and may act as a Lead IBC Assistant. The role includes making collection calls, verifying claims, and ensuring timely payments from various payers for physician services.

In Short

• Perform advanced billing and collection activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in billing or insurance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in handling confidential data.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with office equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Knowledge of collections strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
