Certified Coder - Psychiatry - Remote

Overview

This position involves reviewing medical record documentation to determine appropriate billing codes and necessary documentation for psychiatry.

In Short

• Review medical records for accurate coding.
• Assign appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Collaborate with physicians for documentation accuracy.
• Lead and assist other coders with medical terminology.

Requirements

• Must have coding credentials from AHIMA or AAPC.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred.
• Previous coding experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians.
• Team-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer systems proficiency is required.
