Overview

The Certified Coder-ProFee I position involves abstracting, analyzing, and assigning medical codes for various services, ensuring accuracy and compliance in coding and billing practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Current professional coding credential (CPC, CCA, COC, CCS-P, CCS, RHIA, RHIT).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of medical coding conventions.
• Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• General understanding of payer billing requirements.
• One year of professional coding experience (desired).
