Senior Epic Applications Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Epic Applications Analyst assists in the development, support, functionality roll, and long-term support of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and other supporting IT systems for EvergreenHealth system end-users.

In Short

• Conducts research to develop, configure, and modify moderately complex information systems.
• Designs, configures, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains programs/applications.
• Applies detailed knowledge of system functionality to the implementation of new applications and modules.
• Uses knowledge of user workflow to assist users in defining requirements.
• Coordinates all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades.
• Provides input to go-live events and supports during these events.
• Manages small and medium sized projects with minimal oversight.
• Develops strong relationships with end user communities and business partners.
• Participates in vendor user groups and reviews vendor updates.
• Provides excellent customer service by communicating effectively with users.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare IT or relevant experience.
• Experience with 1 or more Epic go-lives.
• Epic certification in area of support or certification within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new vendor applications quickly.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Passion for supporting applications in a healthcare environment.
