Customer Service Representative - Remote

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to facilitate quality and accurate Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Work Orders to ensure customer expectations are exceeded as well as prompt, courteous and professional responses to customer requests.

• Facilitate quality and accurate customer orders
• Maintain and grow sales from current and past customers
• Prospect new business opportunities
• Data entry and accuracy for orders into Oracle
• Coordinate scheduling and delivery for multiple sites
• Provide product knowledge and customer support
• Responsible for claims and account reconciliation
• Communicate effectively with relevant functions
• Assist Outside Sales with quoting
• Accept inbound calls to assist customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of construction products experience preferred
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Previous roofing experience is a plus
• High math aptitude for calculating square footage
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Project management and negotiation skills
• Ability to read building drawings preferred
