Customer Service Representative - Remote

Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing quality and accurate quotations, purchase orders, and work orders to meet customer expectations, while also maintaining and growing sales from existing and past customers.

In Short

• Facilitate quality quotations and orders.
• Maintain and grow sales from current and past customers.
• Data entry accuracy for orders into Oracle.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries.
• Provide product knowledge and customer support.
• Manage claims and account reconciliation.
• Respond to inbound customer calls.
• Liaison between manufacturing and customers.
• Assist Outside Sales with quoting.
• Learn and apply knowledge of commercial/industrial product lines.

Requirements

• High math aptitude for calculations.
• Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read building drawings.
• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of construction products sales experience is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Previous roofing experience is a plus.
