In Short

  • Manage a group of 3-5 Account Executives and provide them with mentorship.
  • Ensure the team exceeds goals in new business, upsell, renewals, retention, and activation.
  • Cultivate and maintain a high-performing team culture.
  • Enhance team output and efficiency by optimizing systems and processes.
  • Create forecasts and analyze performance data.
  • Develop and execute career development and leadership programs.
  • Oversee daily activities and quota performance management of individual Account Managers.
  • Build dashboards in Salesforce and other tools to monitor customer success and team performance.
  • Hire and train new Account Executives quickly on solutions, personas, competition, tools, training, and role-plays.
  • Coach and mentor on sales skills, call feedback, and lead enablement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performing sales or account management teams.
  • Success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally with Enterprise companies.
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales or account management experience selling to Enterprise organizations.
  • Strong executive presence – very comfortable with C-level executives, especially CTOs.
  • Proficient in using data and analytics for decision-making process improvement.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to recruit top talent and thoughtful approach to team planning and development.
  • Proven track record of negotiating, structuring, and executing complex sales agreements.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.
