In Short

  • Responsible for growing contract revenue across new and existing customers.
  • Serve as the account owner for a defined list of members and prospects.
  • Drive the sales cycle to completion before transitioning accounts to the Member Success team.
  • Build relationships with senior leaders in various departments.
  • Generate new business opportunities and up-sell to expand revenue.
  • Plan and execute a daily/weekly agenda.
  • Initiate sales appointments via teleconferencing or travel as needed.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Record information within Salesforce for pipeline management.
  • Lead all aspects of deal execution, including negotiation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing sales roles.
  • Strong skills in developing and presenting business plans.
  • Demonstrated history of promoting value through customer experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret scientific and technical documents.
  • Experience with CRM software, Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
