Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded IT Support Analyst in the banking sector for our client in Zurich South.

In Short

  • Analyze and manage recurring IT problems including root cause analysis and documentation of solutions.
  • Implement proactive measures to reduce disruptions and increase system stability.
  • Conduct technical error analysis (Defect Management) including reproduction in test environments and collaboration with developers.
  • Monitor applications/systems and further develop/automate monitoring tools.
  • Configure banking applications according to business requirements and manage system settings and user roles.
  • Provide first- and second-level support for internal IT requests and manage major incidents.
  • Process user access requests and manage permissions according to internal guidelines.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as an IT Support Analyst in the banking environment.
  • Experience in incident and problem management as well as IT service management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (especially Splunk is an advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis and error diagnosis is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills when interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving abilities.
  • High willingness to learn and quick comprehension of complex IT systems.
  • Fluent in German and very good English skills.
