Overview

The Application Engineer will support the Precision Sealing Solutions in the Business Area Original Equipment Solutions at the location Northeim, focusing on project-specific development activities and customer service.

In Short

• Execute and monitor project-specific development activities.
• Develop products according to customer specifications.
• Provide technical project-specific customer service.
• Acquire new projects in cooperation with the sales department.
• Document all project activities in the project management system.
• Conduct feasibility checks for RFQ utilizing multidisciplinary teams.
• Support new and change management projects in the PLC.
• Analyze and improve existing products.
• Support sales and project management in customer service.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in direct customer contact.
• Knowledge about OESL related products.
• Experience in research and development.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
• Experience in international and intercultural environments.
• Very good English and German language skills.
• Strong team player and good communicator.
• Willingness to travel.
