Financial Investigator - Remote

Overview

CGS is seeking a Financial Investigator to join our team providing legal support and investigative services to a large federal agency.

In Short

• Plans and conducts investigations.
• Performs quantitative, qualitative, or other analysis of relevant facts.
• Prepares results to support the mission.
• Develops and analyzes evidence from investigators and law enforcement.
• Conducts asset investigations and verifies employment.
• Analyzes financial records to ensure targets can pay penalties.
• Prepares interim and final reports on investigations.
• Advises on methods for conducting investigations.
• Establishes relationships among facts and evidence.
• Prepares affidavits and testifies in court as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years experience in investigations.
• Knowledge of investigative techniques and databases.
• Valid driver's license and U.S. Citizenship.
• Experience in law enforcement is preferred.
• Ability to analyze and present large volumes of data.
• Experience in reviewing financial records.
• Experience in interviewing witnesses.
• Previous experience with federal agencies is a plus.
