Overview

CGS is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team supporting a wide-ranging customer support initiative for a large Federal agency. This role involves engaging with the public, utilizing a knowledge base, and documenting communications to enhance government innovation.

In Short

  • Full-time entry-level position.
  • Support customer inquiries through calls and emails.
  • Utilize standard operating procedures to assist customers.
  • Document communications in a database.
  • Fluency in English and/or Spanish required.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service and time management skills needed.
  • Call center experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Fully fluent in English and/or Spanish (both written and verbal).
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Experience in a call center environment is beneficial.
