Manager IT Infrastructure Deployment - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Manager IT Infrastructure Deployment to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

In Short

• Take ownership of all hardware provisioning activities within distributed data centers.
• Coordinate roll-outs and maintain consistent processes for racking & stacking.
• Manage hardware deployment from physical setup to comprehensive documentation.
• Drive automation and standardization to improve provisioning efficiency.
• Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure task execution.
• Evaluate hardware components and make procurement recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills for managing parallel rollout projects.
• Fluent in German and English for international communication.
• Experience in a data center or IT infrastructure environment is a plus.

Requirements

• Some leadership experience in a technical or operational context.
• Practical experience in hardware provisioning—racks, servers, network devices.
• Ability to assess hardware components and make procurement recommendations.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Proven ability to execute and refine operational processes.
• Systematic mindset with a knack for documentation.
• Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written).
• Experience with process automation in provisioning workflows is a plus.
• Experience with project management or ERP systems is a plus.
• Understanding of cabling, rack design, and hardware testing is a plus.
