• The Monetization Platform team is at the heart of Confluent’s business strategy.
• Build accurate, reliable, scalable systems in the cloud for usage-based billing.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in architecting and developing scalable backend services.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Go, Java, C/C++.
• Experience with Kubernetes and public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with Kafka and SaaS platform development.
• Deep knowledge of designing distributed systems in the cloud.
• Experience running production services in public clouds.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strategic thinking for operational improvements.
• Comfortable troubleshooting across services and technical stacks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
