Principal Engineer - Security Platform - Remote

Overview

As a Principal Engineer of Confluent's Security Platform, you will work closely with the team and other key stakeholders across the company to design, architect and build secure, multi-cloud, external and internal security controls that keep our customer’s data safe as well as enable new business opportunities across Confluent Cloud.

In Short

• 15+ years of experience in delivering scalable software solutions.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, highly available systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud-based security and networking.
• Hands-on expertise in high-scale distributed systems engineering.
• Expertise in multiple programming languages (Java, Go, Python).
• Experience in driving operational excellence for large production services.
• Track record of providing technical mentoring and leadership.
