EMEA Technical Revenue Manager - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Technical Revenue will be an international leader on behalf of the Technical Revenue Team and will be a key business partner to Sales, Sales Ops, Business Development, Legal, and FP&A. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert on revenue accounting and engage with the business to provide revenue recognition guidance in various areas, including contract reviews, non-standard sales deals, and new product introductions.

In Short

• Serve as the finance organization’s subject matter expert on revenue accounting.
• Provide revenue recognition guidance on complex revenue transactions.
• Draft technical revenue memos to document key conclusions.
• Prepare revenue checklists for material contracts.
• Work closely with external auditors on revenue policies.
• Drive process improvements related to contract review.
• Understand commissions accounting and related processes.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or a global high-tech organization.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Experience in strategic thinking and recommendations.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• CPA certification or equivalent experience.
