Overview

The call center trainer is responsible for training and preparing new and existing team members for their roles within the organization, partnering with various teams to design and deliver interactive training.

In Short

  • Trains and prepares team members through in-person and virtual training.
  • Analyzes training needs to develop and improve training plans and materials.
  • Presents information using various instructional techniques.
  • Acts as a role model and maintains a positive image within the company.
  • Determines and assesses training needs through surveys and focus groups.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years training experience.
  • Minimum 2 years conducting technical support training.
  • Call center experience is a plus.
  • Some post-secondary education preferred.
  • Excellent public speaking and teaching skills.
  • Experience with role plays and simulations in training.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback effectively.
  • Clear explanation of complex concepts.
  • Flexibility in communication style based on the audience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
