Overview

Computer Generated Solutions (CGS) is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer specializing in Azure Cloud and Managed Services Solutions to support our sales and technical teams. This role requires expertise in solution architecture, technical presentations, proposal writing, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, managed services, cloud migration, security, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud solutions.

In Short

  • Architect Azure-based solutions for cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, disaster recovery, and managed services.
  • Design hybrid cloud architectures, including on-premises integrations and multi-cloud strategies.
  • Provide detailed technical documentation, including solution specifications, architecture diagrams, and best practices.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospects and customers.
  • Conduct customer workshops and discovery sessions to assess business needs.
  • Develop technical proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and RFP responses.
  • Create professional PowerPoint decks to convey solution designs and value propositions.
  • Work closely with customers to address questions and technical challenges.
  • Provide post-presentation follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with sales and delivery teams for smooth handoffs from pre-sales to implementation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting with a focus on Azure Cloud.
  • Strong expertise in Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Networking, Security, and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience with Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and Backup as a Service (BaaS).
  • Knowledge of Azure governance, security, compliance, and cost management best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Lucidchart.
  • Experience with CRM and Proposal Tools.
