Investment Fund Manager - Remote

Overview

This position leads, directs and manages the efficient and effective development of Compeer’s investments in Rural Business Investment Company (RBIC), Limited Partnership and General Partnership relationships; provides creative, valuable solutions to RBIC opportunities and problems; and provides fund management leadership across Farm Credit System Investment Committees.

In Short

• Manage RBIC fund portfolio of $100+ million.
• Provide solutions to partnerships under the USDA's Rural Business Investment Program.
• Lead negotiation strategies and marketing efforts.
• Develop external and internal relationships for professional development.
• Serve as primary contact with external attorneys and potential investors.
• Engage in development and implementation of strategies.
• Collaborate with Farm Credit System leaders on partnership terms.
• Maintain contact with congressional offices regarding RBIP enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field.
• Expert-level experience in equity/investment fund management.
• Advanced knowledge of Rural Business Investment Program law.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM programs.
