SaaS Sales Engineer - Remote

Overview

Commvault is the gold standard in cyber resilience, empowering customers to recover from cyberattacks and keep data safe. We are looking for a SaaS Sales Engineer to join our team.

In Short

• Act as a regional SaaS technical resource for sales teams.
• Work with SaaS Sales Specialists to develop territory plans.
• Engage with customers to understand their technical and business issues.
• Drive pre-sales discovery and outline solutions.
• Demonstrate SaaS’s technical value through presentations and demos.
• Build relationships across internal departments for successful sales campaigns.
• Keep management informed of key issues impacting business results.
• Provide technical expertise for channel and alliance partners.
• Establish expertise on current and developing SaaS products.
• Continuously develop technical and market expertise.

Requirements

• Technical pre-sales experience in software or storage industry.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with cyber security topics.
• Experience in enterprise storage, VMware, AWS, Azure, etc.
• Experience in architecting SaaS data management solutions.
• Knowledge of software licensing practices.
• Strong consultative selling skills.
• Experience with business case creation and TCO modeling.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and French.
