Overview

The Sales Engineer will execute on all aspects of sales demonstrations - whether onsite, at conferences, or virtually - to articulate the Assent value proposition in the most compelling way.

In Short

  • Create and deliver impactful demonstrations for customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to guide customers through product options.
  • Develop strong relationships with Sales and Product teams.
  • Identify custom technical requirements for the Assent Product team.
  • Support Account Executives with technical sections of RFPs/RFIs.
  • Share insights with Product Management for new features.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences on behalf of the Sales team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Participate in the development of specification documents.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating technical product features.
  • University degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication for different audiences.
  • Strong ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
  • Expertise in creating impactful presentations.
  • Technical background in software, preferably in SaaS.
  • Knowledge in the manufacturing industry and compliance standards.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
