Overview

Coinbase is seeking a passionate Lead for our Technology Risk function to support the implementation and maturity of our technology and security risk management program, enabling risk-informed business outcomes.

• Enable risk informed business outcomes by communicating tradeoffs.
• Manage risks throughout the risk lifecycle.
• Maintain source of truth risk register.
• Iterate on program elements for improvement.
• Report on risk posture to business leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years in risk management or Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
• Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001/5, NIST CSF.
• Knowledge of technology risk solutions.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience managing high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
