Finance Manager for Product & Engineering - Remote

Overview

Cockroach Labs is looking for a Finance whiz to support our Product & Engineering teams. This role will enable our leadership in their decision making related to product roadmap investments and spend optimization.

In Short

• Partner with Product & Engineering teams and leadership.
• Work with Cloud Infrastructure team for usage planning and optimization.
• Lead margin analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Build pro forma P&L for service delivery methods.
• Support strategic planning for products and new initiatives.
• Own product P&L for capital allocation and investment.
• Manage finance processes in financial planning tool.
• Develop and maintain key business performance metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years in corporate finance/FP&A at a tech/SaaS company.
• Experience with FinOps/Cloud Infrastructure spend tracking.
• Strong relationship-building skills across functions.
• Ability to build and adapt financial models.
• Familiarity with financial reporting/accounting concepts.
• Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Insights is a plus.
• Ability to manage workloads in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills for complex analysis.
