Product Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

As the Product Engineering Manager, you will build and manage a team of Full Stack Web Engineers working on the BitMEX.com website, APIs, and mobile applications. You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Affiliates, other Product Engineering teams and other technical teams, to collaboratively execute BitMEX’s retail strategy, offering a seamless and engaging user experience across all customer touchpoints - perpetuating BitMEX’s reputation as pioneers and disruptors in the finance industry.

In Short

• Manage a team of 10-15 full-stack engineers.
• Collaborate with Sales stakeholders and Product Managers.
• Lead technical initiatives associated with product development.
• Establish engineering best practices.
• Continuously modernize and elevate customer experience standards.
• Work on the BitMEX.com website, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Reinvent and redesign BitMEX UI.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Computer Science.
• Experience managing and coaching software engineers and designers.
• Proven expertise with NodeJS and React.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers.
• Familiarity with industry coding practices and design patterns.
• Experience building real-time trading UIs.
• Working experience in Financial Services.
