Overview

Cobalt Benefits Group (CBG) is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support the successful onboarding of new clients onto our self-funded benefit platforms. This role involves project coordination, client communication, and process execution.

In Short

  • Coordinate and drive implementation activities across multiple teams.
  • Create and manage implementation project plans and timelines.
  • Gather and document customer requirements for accurate setup.
  • Identify risks and partner with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Facilitate implementation kick-off activities.
  • Lead client-facing meetings related to onboarding.
  • Track action items and implementation milestones.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Support continuous improvement of implementation processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in health insurance implementation.
  • Experience working directly with clients on complex initiatives.
  • Knowledge of self-funded health plans and related services.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to client management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and web-based tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% during peak periods.
  • Technical writing experience is a plus.
