Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Days - Remote

Overview

The Respiratory Therapist provides care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, utilizing evidence-based care and innovative therapies in various settings.

• Provide care for patients with respiratory disorders.

• Respond to codes and emergencies.
• Assess patient conditions and deliver appropriate treatments.

• Work in various settings including ED and Critical Care.
• Must possess critical thinking and effective communication skills.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program required.
• Must be licensed as RT or TT in the State of Florida.

Requirements

• Accredited Program in Respiratory Therapy.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Ability to work under stress and minimal supervision.
• No prior work experience required.
• National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
