Overview

The Respiratory Therapist at Mass General Brigham provides critical clinical patient care by assessing, initiating, modifying, and discontinuing therapeutic respiratory care procedures for critically ill patients.

• Acts as a member of the patient care team.
• Initiates and assists with respiratory tests and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to assess quickly and prepare care plans.
• Physical ability to handle medical equipment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Experience in respiratory care preferred.
