Overview

As a Respiratory Therapist with Corewell Health, you will help patients breathe more easily and live life more comfortably by collaborating with a highly skilled clinical team to diagnose, monitor, and treat lung and breathing conditions.

In Short

• Provide respiratory care for patients of all ages.
• Perform evaluations to determine respiratory care needs.
• Document treatment effectiveness and patient progress.
• Conduct point of care testing as required.
• Instruct and train other staff and students on respiratory care.
• Maintain competency in required areas and complete documentation timely.
• Facilitate patient transitions to appropriate referral services.

• Comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist license required.
• National Board for Respiratory Care certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ideal candidate will be a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Ability to work nights and variable weekends.
