Infrastructure Deployment Engineer - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will be focused on the build out and expansion of our global infrastructure, working closely with various teams to manage and improve our data center operations.

• Focus on global infrastructure build-out and expansion.
• Collaborate with SRE, Network Engineering, and Infrastructure Engineering teams.
• Manage hardware, software, and network in new data centers.
• Implement consistent processes for infrastructure management.

• Create and maintain documentation and plans.
• Coordinate global installation of cross-connects.
• Assist in defining and implementing processes across regions.
• Limited travel required.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Data Center Operations, SRE, or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Center Operations tasks.
• Experience with optical transport technologies.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools.
• Network hardware administration experience.
• Understanding of Network Protocols and Enterprise architecture.
• Ability to write scripts for internal tools.
• Experience improving operational processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with proactive attitude.
