The Application Security Engineer at Cloudflare is responsible for the technical execution of solutions and guidance to customers, ensuring they get the most value from their Cloudflare investment.

In Short

Work in a customer-facing role to deliver security solutions.
Plan and implement services for customers.
Gather requirements to build and deliver solutions.
Provide guidance on configurations and integrations.
Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with teams.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.
Experience with OSI model layers and internet security technologies.
Demonstrated scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Requirements

5+ years in customer-facing roles (e.g., Engineer, Consultant).
Understanding of OSI model layers and protocols.
Knowledge of DDoS, WAF, DNS, and CDN technologies.
Experience in scripting and automation.
Ability to manage projects and work under deadlines.
Strong communication skills in English.
Fluency in another European language is advantageous.
