As a Senior Solutions Engineer Manager at Cloudera, you will lead a team of skilled engineers, managing customer relationships and collaborating across departments to deliver tailored business solutions.

In Short

Manage and lead a team of Sales Engineers.
Understand customers’ business requirements and technical needs.
Present solutions to various stakeholders including developers and CTOs.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.
Transform customer feedback into product roadmap items.
Participate in evangelism activities such as blogs and industry events.
Foster team culture and communication.
Identify and develop upcoming talent within the team.
Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Engage with open source community initiatives.

Requirements

Experience in building and managing teams.
Expertise in Enterprise Software and Big Data technologies.
Familiarity with Cloud Service Provider architectures.
Knowledge of Data Governance and Operations.
Proficiency in Java, .NET, Python, and SQL.
Understanding of Data Science vs. Data Engineering.
Experience with Apache Hadoop and related technologies.
Solution Architecture/Engineering experience.
Streaming and NoSQL experience is a plus.
Cloudera Certification is preferred.
