Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Cloudera, you will empower clients to transform complex data into actionable insights, owning the technical sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings to post-sales.
• Support the technical needs of customers and discover new use cases.
• Design solutions using Cloudera technologies based on reference architectures.
• Demonstrate Cloudera products to inspire customer engagement.
• Partner with Account Managers to showcase the value of Cloudera solutions.
• Present product roadmap and vision to customers.
• Advocate for customer needs to Product Management and Engineering.
• Participate in external publicity and evangelism.
• Work in a collaborative environment with a focus on customer success.
• Travel domestically in the US as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to create and deliver technical presentations.
• Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing, or Relational Databases.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge in Data Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
• Understanding of Operations, Security, and Data Governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
