Senior Manager, Sales Engineering - US East - Remote

Overview

CloudBees is looking for a highly skilled, motivated and dynamic Senior Manager, Sales Engineering to lead and continuously improve our sales engineering team, overseeing a team of sales engineers in the Americas sales regions based in the United States.

In Short

• Manage a team of sales engineering professionals in the United States.
• Measure team activities and report performance.
• Own HR responsibilities including talent management and performance management.
• Support sales leaders and maintain communication.
• Become an authority on Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Feature Flags, Compliance, and DevOps.
• Connect with customers and act as a technical advisor.
• Work with the product team to identify priorities.
• Attend trade shows as needed.
• Deliver outstanding presentations and handle objections.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in people management.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
• 10+ years of technical PreSales experience.
• Strong technical background and motivation to improve sales engineering skills.
• Familiarity with software development and delivery.
• Experience with consultative, value-based sales methods.
• Knowledge of Jenkins is a plus.
• Experience selling to government entities is a plus.
