Overview

The Development Support Engineer (DSE) at CloudBees plays a critical role in supporting customers' DevOps environments by troubleshooting complex issues and guiding best practices to ensure customer success.

In Short

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with products and integrations.
  • Provide recommendations for best practices in DevOps workflows.
  • Assist with complex setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of tools and environments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via a ticketing system, email, and phone.
  • Engage with customers to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge bases for customer self-service.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and enhance internal tools for team efficiency.
  • Stay updated on DevOps tools and software development trends.
  • Participate in team scrums and collaborative problem-solving sessions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in Java Application troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins as an admin or developer.
  • 2+ years experience in Linux system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
