Support Development Engineer - Remote

Overview

EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. We help consumers turn their smart thermostats, EVs, batteries, and other products into virtual power plants that keep the grid stable and enable higher penetration of solar and wind power.

In Short

• Work closely with Engineering, Internal Stakeholders, and Clients.
• Identify root causes of technical issues.
• Respond to production issues.
• Configure programs and data flows between EnergyHub and partners.
• Build dashboards on top of the data warehouse.
• Debug reported issues using logs, data, and code.
• Create and maintain Python scripts for data migrations.
• Contribute bug-fix PR’s to the codebase.
• Work with 3rd Party APIs using Postman.
• Experience with the AWS ecosystem.

Requirements

• Ability to identify root causes from multiple sources.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with code versioning tools like git.
• Experience debugging issues using AWS Cloudwatch, Sentry, or Datadog.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python.
• Familiarity with Fullstack web development.
• Comfort working across time zones and cultures.
