Overview

Close is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead our Sales team and improve our sales processes, focusing on pipeline building and operational experimentation.

In Short

  • Lead and manage a team of full-cycle Sr. Account Executives and Account Executives.
  • Own and optimize the sales process to improve performance metrics.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for team growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance and Product.
  • Implement AI features to enhance sales efficiency.
  • Analyze metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop sales enablement materials and training resources.
  • Participate in the operational aspects of the sales function.
  • Work closely with leadership on sales strategies.
  • Support the team through various sales challenges.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in Sales or Sales Operations.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a sales team.
  • Detail-oriented with a systems-thinking approach.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS sales processes.
  • Empathetic and persuasive people manager.
  • Self-driven and scrappy with data-driven decision making.
  • Excited about leveraging AI in sales processes.
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and improve sales pipeline quality.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in coaching and developing sales talent.
