Solutions Engineer I - Remote

Overview

The Solutions Engineer I Role combines detailed technical knowledge with a dedication to the sales process and customer success. The Solutions Engineer I will support sales productivity, sales enablement, and customer evaluations by collaborating closely with sales teams to highlight how CivicPlus solutions meet customer needs.

In Short

• Be the subject matter expert in designated product technology and solutions.
• Present technology in selling situations.
• Work on small to mid-market opportunities.
• Provide product feedback to influence product roadmap.
• Solicit feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the technical expert for solution configuration.
• Create and run client sandbox environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or social sciences.
• Strong technical background with SaaS solutions.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience in a consultative role.
• 1+ years in software delivery or technical marketing.
• 3+ years in local government preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to tie business problems to technical solutions.
• Self-starter and team player.
