Overview

The Mediator and Intake Specialist will mediate consumer complaints by negotiating with consumers and businesses for equitable resolutions on behalf of both parties.

In Short

  • Communicate and interact with consumers and businesses on consumer-related complaints.
  • Analyze, document, research, and resolve consumer complaints.
  • Maintain Agency database and provide reports as needed.
  • Perform data entry and input detailed, accurate notes.
  • Provide timely follow-up and closure for each consumer complaint.
  • Answer calls and direct callers appropriately.
  • Deliver accurate information to callers.
  • Process mail within assigned timeframes.
  • Provide front desk reception coverage.
  • Prepare training materials and assist in training others.

Requirements

  • Four-year high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of satisfactory clerical experience.
  • Keyboard familiarity with typing at least 100 key strokes per minute.
