Overview

The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is seeking a dynamic Human Capital professional to lead recruitment and onboarding efforts, focusing on building a diverse and inclusive workforce.

In Short

  • Lead daily operations of the Recruitment and On-Boarding Unit.
  • Manage a team of Human Capital Associates and Interns.
  • Promote civil service exams and job openings in the community.
  • Build outreach partnerships with schools and organizations.
  • Integrate equity-focused strategies into recruitment processes.
  • Oversee the Agency’s LinkedIn Recruiter platform.
  • Provide support to division hiring managers on recruitment timelines.
  • Monitor recruitment performance metrics and develop strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and program goals.
  • Lead recruitment for special program roles and volunteers.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree and three years of administrative experience.
  • Associate degree or 60 semester credits and four years of experience.
  • High school diploma and five years of administrative experience.
  • One year of administrative or supervisory experience required.
  • Education may substitute for experience at specified rates.
