Director of Audit Support - Remote

Overview

The Director of Audit Support will lead program audit work for the New York City Department of Housing Preservation Development, ensuring compliance and efficiency in audits while supporting affordable housing initiatives.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree with 24 credits in accounting or CPA license.
• Five years of experience in management auditing or financial auditing.
• At least 18 months in a managerial or executive capacity.
• Strong communication skills for various audiences.
• Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with teams.
• Interest in improving government practices.
• Experience in public or nonprofit agencies preferred.
• Ability to analyze data using Excel.
• Inquisitive and solution-oriented mindset.
