Senior Application Development Lead - VP - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Application Development Lead at Citi will contribute to the development of enterprise-grade applications using modern technology stacks, focusing on automation and application development activities.

In Short

• Lead application development and automation initiatives.
• Work with engineering and support teams on data and analytics projects.
• Contribute to application architecture and design.
• Develop code for customization, automation, and reporting.
• Coordinate offshore and onshore team members.
• Handle application issues and provide L2/L3 support.
• Promote best practices and configuration recommendations.
• Build secure Java Rest APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• 10 years of experience in relevant technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience with No-SQL and relational databases.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
• Experience in building micro-services applications.
• Understanding of data life cycle and software development life cycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization is a plus.
• Experience in large scale data warehouse implementations is a plus.
• Knowledge of ETL technologies is a plus.
